International travel : how to get here?

We have hosted lots of riders coming from all over the world, or to be exact, 20 different nationalities so far! Plane or train? Needless to say that we can tell you all the best ways to get to the Woodwings camp. Still can't figure out how to get here? No worries! Write us a letter to info@campwoodwings.com or give us a call on +32 497 54 14 48 (phone call or WhatsApp voice call). We are happy to help you, every weekday between 10am and 5pm (CET or GMT+1).

During the planning of your trip, keep in mind that the camp starts each Saturday noon and ends on Friday evening next week. We kindly ask you to respect the days and times of arrival and departure, this way we can ensure a smooth progress and transition of our different camps. 

By plane

When coming from the other side of the globe, traveling by plane is always the best choice. When you book your trip on time and if you are a bit lucky to find a good flight, it is an economic way to travel. We are extremely proud to have hosted happy people coming from Australia, Hong Kong,  South Korea and the USA. Find a flight from your home city to one of the nearest airports, book your trip and join the Woodwings family. Our shuttle bus will be waiting for you and will bring you straight to the camp. Of course, we will make sure that you get back on time at the airport or station after your camp. You can book the shuttle service together with your longboard camp.

GENEVA, Switzerland

Geneva airport is the nearest airport to the Woodwings camp, approximately 1h30 away. From there you can use our pick-up service for just €25 per person/way.

Pick-up shuttle Geneva airport: every Saturday at 13h00
Return shuttle Geneva airport: every Friday from 16h00 or Saturday at 10h00 (departure time on the camp)

PARIS, France

From all around the world you can fly to Paris. From Paris you can easily get a direct bus or train to ANNECY, which is a 1-hour drive from the camp. Once you have arrived in Paris, we recommend you to use the SNCF (national railway company) for trains or our partner FLIXBUS for a direct bus connection between Paris and Annecy. Our shuttle bus will be waiting for you at the central train / bus station of Annecy and will bring you straight to the camp. Of course, we will make sure that you get back on time at the train / bus station after your camp. You can use our pick-up service for just €25 per person (return trip).

By train

Traveling by train is a good option for mid-distance trips. The nearest train station to the longboard camp is ANNECY, located approx. 1 hour from the camp. We will send a shuttle service to pick you up at the train station and bring you straight to the camp. Of course, we will make sure that you get back on time at the bus station after your camp. There are several websites that you can use to plan your journey, for instance, Rail Europe, and once you've arrived in France, we recommend you to use the SNCF (national railway company) website.

You can use our pick-up service for just €25 per person (return trip). You can book it together with your longboard camp.

By bus

FLIXBUS offers many bus connections to ANNECY, located approx. 1 hour from the camp. We will send a shuttle service to pick you up at the bus station and bring you straight to the camp. Of course, we will make sure that you get back on time at the bus station after your camp. You can use our pick-up service for just €25 per person (return trip). You can book it together with your longboard camp.

By own transport

For the guests coming to Woodwings on their own-account, we kindly ask you to respect the days and times of arrival and departure. The camp will open its doors on Saturday noon at 12h00 and we ask our guests to arrive before 16h00. The week will end the next week Friday evening between 16h00 and 20h00. This way we can ensure a smooth progress and transition of our different camps.
